Workshop ideas for the new year

I was thinking of possible workshops to offer the coming semester:

Classroom Action Research - to encourage new faculty to do more of it

Webquests/Inquiry-based Learning - can be done in-class/at-home and individual/group; can be multiple-choice/short answer/full project

Course Design, a long (1-3 day) workshop using this online tutorial

Finding Educational Multimedia: MERLOT and finding online multimedia resources via e.g. YouTube or podcasts (but focus on MERLOT)

Assigning & Assessing Multimedia Projects. Some links: article on assessinmg multimedia vs. print ; a book we could consider buying; a sample rubric
